As Central UMC approaches its celebration weekend on September 25, Resurrection has been preparing to welcome Central’s members with open arms. Note that your membership will not automatically transfer to Resurrection’s rolls. Instead, your membership will be temporarily placed at the Northwest District while you prepare to make the decision to join Resurrection at an upcoming “Coffee with the Pastor.” These events will be held at Central, with two options in the months of November and December. These events will be specifically for those who are considering joining Resurrection. If instead, you desire information about other United Methodist churches in the Northwest District, please contact the District Office at (816)737-1114.
